Clearly the lake is at a very high level. With spring rains starting, who knows what it will look like by May. It doesn’t seem like there will be any natural relief in rising lake water this year, or for that matter, ever. Last year, residents voluntarily agreed to designating the whole lake as a no wake zone. Unfortunately, we suggest continuing the no wake until further notice. The lake is significantly higher than any point last year, which means the risk of damage to personal property is also much higher. As you can see from the pictures below, there has already been damage to personal property – so please take it slow and keep a safe distance from the shoreline at all times (regardless of speed).
Thank you for your continued understanding.
